In Part 1 of this series, I told you about JCB Laboratories’ new, larger space. That is only part of our exciting story. Extra space is important but that space needs to be managed, monitored and cared for with the utmost precision. We accomplish this critical process by:
- Electronically restricting and monitoring clean room access: Only highly trained and essential personnel have access during normal operating hours. The entire premises are monitored 24 hours a day and every person entering the building is logged.
- Enhanced Environmental Monitoring (EM): The new clean room at JCB Laboratories is monitored 24 hours a day for room pressures, temperature and humidity. This data is captured electronically and can be referenced at any time. We also record this data manually at various times every day for verification and redundancy. JCB has developed strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all EM, including air sampling, aseptic validation and cleaning protocols.
- Hiring the best and brightest: Our executive management team has assembled a team of highly trained pharmacists, chemists, clean room technicians, quality assurance personnel and customer service technicians who specialize in sterile products and are ready to provide you with all of your sterile medication needs. We will continue to add expert staff to ensure we provide the highest level of solutions for all of your critical medication needs.
Over the last 9 years, JCB Laboratories has grown into a leading provider of sterile compounded products across the United States. We will continue our commitment to constant improvement in key infrastructure, technology and staffing to ensure that JCB is setting the standard for sterile compounding pharmacies.
